TASK

HEC Cleaning

Irregularities in system operation often lead to an increased differential pressure in the filter system

This increases the power consumption of the ID fan and can lead to a failure of the entire process.

The Kayser HEC process provides a quick remedy here, in which the built-in filter bags are cleaned individually with the HEC cleaning device. The specially modulated compressed air pulse results in a significantly higher pressure and a larger quantity of primary compressed air than with the system's own pulse jet cleaning. The forces that occur also blast off larger agglomerations.

Air permeability of a filter bag, measured with the Kayser LD Mobil method before and after HEC cleaning.

Advantages

  • Supporting cages and filter hoses remain installed
  • Fast throughput time, also possible during plant operation
  • Sustainable cleaning success
  • Lower compressed air consumption compared to other in-situ cleaning processes, making it sustainable and cost-effective
  • Possible with vertically and horizontally installed filter bags
