KAY.KAT® CATALYTIC FILTER BAGS.
The new KAY.KAT® filter system provided by KAYSER Filtertech is composed of a filter bag focused on the catalytic reduction of NOx, (dioxin, furan and NH3 reduction also possible) in combination with highly efficient filter media for particulate emission reduction. This unique media allows for a significant reduction of these harmful flue gas components and the highest particulate removal efficiency available (>99,99%).
HOW IT WORKS
The KAY.KAT® system is a double bag system. The inner, catalytic filter bag has the main function to reduce the concentration of the incoming NOx, dioxins, furans and NH3 significantly. The design and the selection of catalyst is adopted according to the individual demands of the installation. The outer filter bag has the main function to reduce the particulate emission in order to fulfill any emission requirement and to protect the inner catalytic filter bag. KAYSER® has the ability to select from a wide range of high temperature resistant and high efficiency filter materials by using fine fibres and laminates of ePTFE-Membranes (KAY.TEX®). Whenever possible the existing cage is used.
