KAY.GREEN makes this possible!

Our KAY.GREEN is made of 100% recycled materials. The needle felt used to produce this filter bag consists largely of plastic waste recovered from the ocean (SEAQUAL® FIBER).

In this project, we work closely with the SEAQUAL INITIATIVE, a unique community dedicated to collecting waste from the ocean. It collaborates with ocean clean-up programs around the world to give new value to marine waste. Ocean plastic is responsibly transformed into a new sustainable textile solution.

Plastic waste in the ocean poses a significant and underestimated risk to seabirds, marine mammals and turtles. Every year, countless animals die in various ways due to plastic in the ocean. They swallow it or become entangled in nets and bags.

The annual amount of plastic waste that ends up in the sea is over 8 million tons!
