The German foundry industry as the world’s fifth largest producer of casting products is an important economic factor. The modernisation of the production plants over the past few years has also embraced filter technology. KAYSER filter media have made a contribution here and considerably reduced emissions in the various production processes.
Cupola furnaces are usually installed in the foundries’ production halls. The emissions arising during the dedusting of these plants must be reduced to the lowest levels possible in order to conform to the MAK values.
